Launch of Barnardo’s ‘See Hear Respond’ Service to support young people who may experience increased adversity during the current period. Parents and young people can self-refer by calling 0800 151 7015 or via the online referral hub.


We have received details of a free mental health resource "ThinkNinja" which has been updated to support students during the current Covid-19 situation.

The new content provides an opportunity for young people to better understand and process the following:

  • Fears relating to the virus
  • Isolation struggles and how to stay connected to family and friends
  • Worries about personal health and health of family members
  • Coping techniques to use during the crisis
  • Plus many other helpful tips

The new content was created by specialist child psychologists and is now available via the ThinkNinja home screen and the WiseNinja chat main menu.

The Travel Planning Team at Hampshire County Council have been busy putting together some ideas for families to use at home during this period of lockdown and, in particular, how to put your daily exercise time to good use whilst focusing on your mental health. There are also more ideas for families to access at and we will be adding to this page over the coming weeks so keep an eye out for more initiatives and ideas.
