Options
In year 9, students will study a broad range of subjects to provide a foundation to Year 10 and 11, so they can select those that interest them, play to their strengths, and are relevant to their future study or career aspirations. There is another round of options in the middle of year 9 where they will choose the final subjects to continue into year 10 and 11.
There is a lot of support in place to help students make the best choices, but first and foremost we encourage them to discuss their choices with their family. The relevant options booklet and information on the Student Portal can be used to guide students, as well as talking to the student's tutor, teachers, and the Learning Leaders for the subjects that are of interest.
